Part 5 of 5 – The Final Phase

The Hudson River Stone Revetment Project has been completed, and the results speak for themselves. It’s a structure with strength, natural beauty, and enduring value. Every stone reflects the craftsmanship and care that define Ocean County Construction.

In today’s world of “fast and easy,” quality often takes a back seat. At OCC, responsibility is never sacrificed for convenience. We believe true value comes from doing the job right, not just getting it done quickly. A proper revetment isn’t created by dumping stone; it’s crafted through precision, design, and respect for the shoreline.

This project also carried a personal touch. During construction, the homeowners’ deer sculpture—affectionately called Deerie—was carefully moved, protected, and later returned to her place of honor, anchored securely atop a granite base. Sitting stones were placed in the water, and artifact hatch covers were set into the dock foundation, adding a sense of history and connection to the space.

Every OCC revetment is a custom-built structure, designed and interlocked to perform flawlessly and to complement its surroundings. It’s more than a seawall—it’s part of the home, part of the landscape, and part of the legacy left behind.
